VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTION

Fundraising volunteer

At Help for Heroes, we support men and women who have been physically or psychologically wounded while serving in the British Armed Forces, providing the help they and their families need to recover and get on with their lives.

We are looking for volunteers to join our fundraising forces! In return we can offer you a fun and rewarding experience and an opportunity to learn new skills and create lasting friendships.

Get involved! You could be:

Supporting the team during our national collection weekends, which take place throughout the year.

Finding local venues to place one of our collection tins and being responsible for counting and banking the money raised

Organising your own fantastic fundraising events, with our full support

Volunteering at some amazing events from country shows to Armed Forces Day events

Cheering and supporting participants at our sports events

Supporting our fundraising teams

Why I volunteerI registered to be a volunteer for Help for Heroes following my incredible week as a Games Maker at the Invictus UK trials.

I am so proud to say that I support Help for Heroes by donating my time, raising awareness and sharing stories from beneficiaries to spread the word about this remarkable charity. I urge you to take part in registering as a volunteer and see just how phenomenal Help for Heroes is.  There are lots of ways to fundraise, from sponsored walks, baking, skydiving and so much more! I’m looking forward to what 2020 will bring and being part of the H4H family at more fundraising events.
