Overview
The Digital Connect project is an initiative which aims to help people build up their confidence using the Internet and provide support and learning to improve their digital skills and accessibility using online services.
How we are supporting clients to improve their digital skills, increase confidence, and reduce digital exclusion.
• We deliver digital training and learning individualised to the Client’s needs through up to a total of six 1-hour sessions. These sessions are delivered face to face, offering 1-2-1 training within their local community at an outreach venue. Support can also be delivered via telephone, email, Skype or any other digital channel as required by the clients.
• Clients generally sign up to Digital Connect as they have little or no Digital skills and limited knowledge of using Digital platforms on electronic devices. They would like support to learn new skills to feel more connected personally, socially and digitally.
• We extend Client learning through use of the ‘Learn My Way’ platform which include tutorials in all aspects digital learning.
